A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
I am extremely excited and honored to chair the 2018 NAELB Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2007, I chaired this same event in Nashville and so much has changed since then. Our industry has since bounced back from difficult times and is in a very healthy state with a broad range of new products to offer. New products and innovations however, demand that we stay “on top of our game” by learning the trends, techniques, and skills of this new era of commercial financing.
Fittingly, this year’s conference theme is “In it to Win It” and we have crafted a great group of sessions for companies in every stage of development. The “Operational Efficiencies” session will provide a rapid-fire list of tips and tricks of the trade that you will be able to implement immediately upon your return to the office. You will get a unique view of credit this year at our “Acing Your Submittals” session where actual funders will review how they decide what is approved and provide tips to improve your approval ratios. The session on “Hiring and Managing Sales Teams” should be on everyone’s must-see list in today’s tight labor market. Growing companies will also appreciate the sessions on Marketing and Alternative Financing. Finally, we will be having a session covering “Selling out or Going to the Next Level” where industry veterans with experience buying, selling, and financing companies will give you a glimpse into your future.
While this year’s topics represent an incredible value, just as important are the relationships you develop and maintain while you are at the conference. Come meet old and new friends at the 2018 NAELB Annual Conference, and put your company on the path to win!
See you in Las Vegas!
